Have you ever promised your child you would bake with them but then find yourself short on time and scurrying to get it all done? Well, we have and we have the perfect quick and easy baking recipe that will occupy your child but also take super quick. The best part is that is is just 3 ingredients. It will leave you with a rich, creamy and moist cake too. The icing aspect is optional.

The Easiest Nutella Cake You Just Have To Bake


1 Jar of Nutella
5 Eggs
1 Cup Flour


Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees. Beat the eggs in a bowl for 5 minutes until extremely fluffy, and semi-stiff. Then add the flour and 3/4 of the jar of Nutella and continue to whisk away. Preferably in an electric blender. Add the substance to a greased baking pan and pop in the oven. The cake should take 15-20 minutes depending. Leave to rest a bit and voila.

Optional Icing

If you would like to add icing to your cake and add a little extra activity a simple and easy icing method is to utilize the additional Nutella with:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or add the leftover Nutella
2 1/2 teaspoons milk, or as needed


Simply mix all in an electric blender until creamy and relatively thick. Feel free to add food colouring, glitter, sprinkles and all the goods in between for a more decorated and fun experience. This recipe is quick, easy and will satisfy the entire families craving- having your child ice and decorate is always an easy way to occupy them.
Pro-tip: The cake can actually be made without flour, the flour simply adds an element to ensure that the cake will rise as well as bind well. Thus, eggs and Nutella are perfectly suitable if any allergies to gluten are present.
