Tempestt Bledsoe is best known for playing as Vanessa Huxtable, Cliff and Clair Huxtable’s fourth child, in the NBC sitcom Vanessa Huxtable, which aired from 1984 to 1986. Bledsoe decided to stay on The Cosby Show and appeared on the show until the final season in 1992, when he passed away. The character of Vanessa, played by her real-life counterpart, appeared in A Different World, a spin-off of The Cosby Show that aired from September 1987 to July 1993.

Towards the end of the 1990s, Tempestt Bledsoe agreed to host her own daily television show, The Tempestt Bledsoe Show, which began airing in 1998. Aside from Husband for Hire on Oxygen, she has also appeared in the Disney Channel animated series The Replacements and the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit Club. In 2010, Bledsoe was approached by the Style Network, and he agreed to host Clean House on their network. After graduating from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Bledsoe went on to date Darryl M. Bell, who she is currently dating.
